Consultations are not available for any other scans. Instead the results will be posted to you within 24 -48 hours of your visit and will include a:

• Written report in clear, understandable language
• CD containing all the images of your scan, including colour 3D.

It is entirely up to you whether you chose to inform your GP, but as they are overall responsible for your health, we strongly recommend that you do. It means your GP will have the necessary information they need for any treatment you might need following your scan.
