Aorta Scan - Vital Imaging

An Abdominal Aorta scan (AAA) is a completely painless, non-invasive scan that takes no more than 30 minutes to complete. You will need to fast for 4 hours prior to the scan and drink plenty of water.

The scan itself looks for any abnormal enlargement of the aorta. The radiologist will also give you an external examination of your abdomen and examine the sensation into your legs.
